Rumors of the Google "G Phone" are a myth. The truth is even better. Instead of creating just a phone, Google has one-upped themselves. The internet giant has created ANDROID, an open platform that allows mobile software developers to create any application imaginable for your phone. In short, the idea is miles ahead of the iPhone.
Google has also announced the Open Handset Alliance (OHA) - a group of 33 (so far) tech and wireless companies devoted to developing the for the Android platform.
