LULU Update

JJ was made aware of LULU by a couple of MILF's that came into the restaurant last night. When they bought their LULU gear, the store was packed and they waited close to 30 minutes just to pay. Their IPO was released earlier this year. At that time, 87% of their net revenue was derived from sales of their products in Canada. 11.7% came from the U.S.

There is a store in Boulder and Denver. We're going to need CJ to go on a field trip.

LULU makes high-end yoga apparel mostly geared towards women. Pops, don't worry, there is men's gear. Their clothes have features such as moisture wicking, odor control, and a seaweed compound that releases vitamins and minerals directly into the skin.

For the three months ended July 31, 2007:

• Net revenue increased 80% to $58.7 million compared to $32.5 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2006. Net revenue from corporate-owned stores increased 98% to $53.1 million compared to $26.8 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2006, with comparable store sales growth of 30%.
• Gross profit as a percentage of net revenue increased 430 basis points to approximately 53% of net revenue from 49% of net revenue in the second quarter of fiscal 2006.
• Income from operations increased 202% to $9.8 million, or 17% of revenues, compared to $3.2 million, or 10% of revenues, in the second quarter of fiscal 2006.

LULU has 37 stores in Canada with 2 opening soon. In the U.S. there are 34 stores with 14 opening soon. One is actually coming soon in Jacksonville in the same complex where Mitchell's is opening. LULU believes there is room for growth of up to 300-350 stores in the U.S.

LULU provides a superior product that people love. This will be bought next week.

MOT Update

Steps are being made in the right direction. Focus is on their decline in market share in the cell phone industry. MOT's sale to Emerson for $350 million is only good news for MVIS. The ball is rolling a little faster.

JSDA Update

Check out these new flavors: 'Dirt' 'Sports Cream' 'Perspiration' 'Natural Field Turf' and 'Sweet Victory'. These are being sold as "collector" packs in the Northwest. These flavors obviously sound horrible. Pay me and I'll drink the garbage.

Congrats JJ

Looks like Sr gets to pick the format again for next week.

Is CJ alive? Nice win meatloaf.

Our holdings are down a little bit to start the day. Time to load up. This fall we will be looking at exponential growth that will propel us to a new level. GOOG is moving in across the street with 24/7 security. They are hitting all time highs and are up 40% on the year.

How bout dem Dawgs. Moving up to 15 in the AP. Ole Miss coming to Athens Saturday.

Sunday's Game

Let me know if I'm off, but my calculations show a 3 way time going into MNF. 4 of the games pushed and all 3 of us went 5-6 against the spread. Pops and I have the Saints and JJ has the Titans. At the least I will be dueling it out over John-Kim-Poy.

Looks like JJ is the favorite to buy lunch. Saki-bombs!

"Fly"

I feel good about the annoyance we give you. Just got back my IQ results......81. Categorized as dull. That is why I worship you Almighty "Fly". How would I know where to invest my hard earned money as a waiter if you weren't around. I probably would've bought JSDA, but you opened my eyes to HANS. You bring clarity to this confusing world.

Mets suck. I'll take the Phillies any day.

Just called mom to cancel next month's vacation. Don't deserve or have the right to go. My net worth is too low.

Off to make a bowl of Ramen.
